RHS MALVERN SPRING FESTIVAL
Cooks and their team from Abberley primary school secure a well deserved gold medal at the show.
The planning started in may 2016 when Paul visited the childrens superb show garden at the show and saw both how keen they were and how knowledgeable they all were. Shortly afterwards he found out they had not time or budget to create a garden in 2017 so he invited then to join in and build cooks floral marque exhibit.
In April everyone joined Paul in the class room for lessons on the company, flower shows and all about hydrangeas which we sell.
On Tue and Wed of the build up two teams joined is on site to finish off building our display…with jobs such as placing the last plants on display, cleaning the stand, creating the table displays, naming all the display and initially set up and pricing the sales benches… they were superb at all the tasks set and learn a lot as we went on.
On Fri and Sat all the children came to the show and hanged customer leaflets and gave adults advise on which plants to choose and on how to look after their hydrangeas. The visitors thought they were wonderful and we have had so many positive remarks.
