Cook's carry a variety of bamboos with different characteristics please ask one our staff for help and advice as to which variety would best suit your garden.

Patio Olive Tree

Olea Europaea

From the Mediterranean he olive bush is an elegant, slow-growing, long-lived plant which is ideal for a sunny sheltered spot makes a great decorative patio tree with hopefully the added bonus of some olives at the end of the summer.

Prefers a sunny corner on the patio or a balcony.

Head diameter: 30-35cm (approx)

Will cope with a winter frost down to -5 degrees

The tree retains its silver-grey leaves all year and in the summer it produces tiny, fragrant, creamy-white flowers.

Can be planted in the ground in free draiing soil.

Requires watering in dry spells and apply a top dressing of nitrogen-rich general fertilizer 2-3 times per year during the growing season.

Provide a light prune in the summer as required to retain the shape.

Camellia

This lovely evergreen camellia will enhance any garden and will also look wonderful in a tub or pot on a patio or balcony. Long flowering period in the spring producing magnificent large flowers.

Height 150cm
Spread 100cm

Needs no pruning.

Prefers a sheltered spot in shade or dappled shade. Likes a sandy rich humous soil.
