Braskets - Bras made in to Hanging Baskets!

Westland Multipurpose Peat Free Compost At Cook's we are always up for a challenge and when the opportunity to work with the RHS came about we could not resist.

The big idea behind the project was to demonstrate that everyone can enjoy gardening. That with a little TLC & Westland West Plus Compost & Westland Feed All it is possible to bring some summer sunshine to every garden, patio, or out door space.

Plant Pants

To demonstrate the point old bras, boxer shorts and jockey pants can with a little imagination be turned in to containers to hold compost and in to that you can grow your plants.

It is not too late

Westland Feed-all plant foodIt is not too late to create your own Braskets and Plant Pants - here at Cook's Garden Centre you will find Westland West Plus Compost and Westland Feed All on sale coupled with a great range of plants to make up your own interpretation of this fun idea.

Gardening needs to be fun!

Let face it if you are not enjoying it you are unlikely to keep doing it and that applies to gardening as much as anything else. The Braskets project has created a terrific amount of humour, and anything which puts a smile on peoples faces has to be a good thing.

On Sunday 12th July at the end of the Hampton Court Show Cooks sold off the Braskets and Plant Pants and donated the £230 proceeds to charity. Sadly many of us are aware of people who have been affected by Breast, Testicular or Prostrate Cancer and Cook's take a pride in doing our bit to help raise funds for worthy charities who work to help combat the effects of these diseases.
